I am proud to serve as a Student Ambassador for the Reed Charitable Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving literacy outcomes by training teachers in the Orton-Gillingham (OG) method. Through this work, the foundation equips educators with proven, structured, and multisensory strategies to better support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges.
In my role, I help raise awareness for the foundation’s mission and engage with the community in meaningful ways. I’ve had the honor of emceeing the annual fundraising gala, where I helped highlight the impact of the foundation’s work and connect supporters to its mission. I’ve also attended a variety of events, including the Literacy Champions Breakfast and teacher training sessions, where I’ve been able to see firsthand how transformative this approach is for both teachers and students.
Being involved with the Reed Charitable Foundation has deepened my passion for literacy advocacy, and I am committed to helping expand access to high-quality reading instruction for students everywhere.
